“Christmas in July” Musical Outreach Project
Wednesday, July 18th, 4:00: Join us as we escape the summer heat and use our imaginations to make it “winter-time”. We’ll make Christmas cards to pass out to the elderly residents at Presbyterian Village North, don our mittens and hats, sing some favorite carols, and even make it SNOW! “Backpacks and Pizza” with Community Partners of Dallas
Tuesday, July 24th, 10:30-noon, I’ll be attending this “Wee Volunteer” family outreach project with my kiddos…filling backpacks with school supplies for area children, and learning about local programs to help needy children. “Miss Representation and Milkshakes”
Tuesday, July 24th, 7:30 pm: Join me and other “Parents with Purpose” as we gather at my home to watch this powerful Mommy-made documentary about the negative effect of the images our daughters (and sons!) see of women in the media. Together, we will brainstorm positive ways we can intentionally counter-act the negative effects of this. details and RSVP

Olympic Play-date and Triathlon!
Friday, Jul 27th, 9:30-11:30: We will have our own little “opening ceremony”, field day events, and a triathlon (running, biking, swimming). This will be a great chance to get our kids excited about the Summer Olympics and exercise! details and RSVP
