Come Play, Laugh, Sing, Read, Listen, Hug and Learn with Miss Lowry. These one-of-a-kind STORY-TIMES will include music and movement games, signing and singing, snack, a family prayer, a craft, poetry, take-home parenting tips and activities, and of course, AWESOME books! PLUS, each child is invited to “check out” a book from Miss Lowry’s special collection:)
All ages welcome!
First Mondays, 4p-5pm, $10/ family
followed by fellowship and and outdoor play

- Sept. 14th (skipping Labor Day): “Reading is MAGIC!” (We will read several great magical books, share magic tricks, and more!)
- Oct. 5th: “ALL About FALL!” (songs, rhymes, and books ALL about this great season!)
- Nov. 2: “Turkey TOTS and TALES” (Turkey songs and rhymes, The story of the 1st THANKSGIVING in music and movement, and “Thankful” family rituals and books)
- Dec. 7: “Christmas and Cookies” (come share cookies, make an ornament, and read about favorite holiday traditions)
Lowry Manders has been an early childhood educator for 14 years in the Dallas and Lake Highlands area. She has a passion for reading with children, building family and brain connections, and encouraging a lifelong love of learning and books! She is an expert at building pre-reading and verbal skills in young children, and she makes it lots of fun! She has even been a speaker for Dallas Public Librarians on “Reading with Children”.
